UPSC Result 2023: Meet Mayur Hazarika, The Doctor From Assam Who Secured Fifth Rank | India News


UPSC Result 2023: Mayur Hazarika on Tuesday secured the fifth rank within the civil companies examination and is the topper among the many male candidates. A health care provider from Assam’s Tezpur, Hazarika has had an excellent educational profession and needed to affix the civil companies since he was at school twelfth. He secured the ninth rank within the Class twelfth examination performed by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. He additionally secured tenth rank within the tenth board remaining examination performed by the Secondary Education Board of Assam in 2013.

“I am really excited and happy that I am the topper among the successful male candidates. My first preference is the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) through which I want to serve the country,” Mayur Hazarika informed the information company PTI.

UPSC Result 2023: Mayur Hazarika is the eldest son

Mayur Hazarika is the eldest son of Assistant Executive Engineer of Assam’s PWD Krishna Hazarika and homemaker Mousumi. He stated he ready for the UPSC examination apart from doing his medical apply.

“I took online coaching for the civil services examination,” Mayur Hazarika stated.

UPSC Result 2022: Ishita Kishore secures first rank

Ishita Kishore, a Delhi University graduate, and daughter of an Air Force officer, achieved the primary rank within the UPSC civil companies examination (CSE) 2022. Kishore, 26, handed the distinguished examination in her third try.

Garima Lohia, who can also be a graduate of the University of Delhi, secured bagged the second rank. Lohia hails from Buxar in Bihar and cleared the examination in her second try. 

The first 4 rank holders are all girls. While Uma Harathi N secured the third rank, Smriti Mishra bought the fourth rank.

Harathi N is a resident of Hyderabad and certified the examination in her fifth try. Mishra is a graduate of the University of Delhi and lives in Noida. She cleared the examination in her third try with Zoology as her optionally available topic.

This is the second 12 months in a row that ladies candidates bought the highest three ranks within the prestigious examination. Shruti Sharma, Ankita Agarwal, and Gamini Singla had secured the primary, second, and third positions within the civil companies examination 2021.

UPSC Result: Over 900 candidates clear civil companies examination

As many as 933 candidates — 613 males and 320 girls — have certified for the civil companies examination 2022.

The prime 25 candidates comprise 14 girls and 11 males, the UPSC stated.

The civil companies examination is performed yearly in three phases — preliminary, fundamental, and interview — by the UPSC to pick out officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) amongst others.
