As of June 7, in a bid to make Uttar Pradesh a number one State within the discipline of milk growth and milk manufacturing, the State Government has launched the Nand Baba Milk Mission scheme at a price of ā¹1,000 crore.
The Nand Baba Milk Mission scheme, which was launched on June 6, has been applied to supply milk producers the ability of promoting their milk at an affordable value in villages by dairy co-operative societies.

Cabinet Minister, Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Dharampal Singh stated that the division was making fixed efforts to make sure the event of the agricultural economic system within the State, to supply remunerative costs to the farmers for his or her milk and to strengthen the agro-based infrastructure.
āUnder this mission, it is proposed to form Dairy Farmer Producer Organisation [Dairy FPO] in order to facilitate sale of milk in producersā villages itself,ā he stated.
āIn the financial year 2023-24, there is a plan to set up five Dairy FPOs in as many districts of the State as a pilot project, in which women will also play a major role,ā he added .

Besides the opening of workplace of the Nand Baba Milk Mission at KisanĀ Gomtinagar, a ‘Dairy Development Portal’ and emblem of Nand Baba Mission has additionally been unveiled.
