More than 13 folks had been injured after a bus carrying 40 Sabarimala pilgrims overturned after the motive force misplaced management of it, mentioned a police official on (*40*). He mentioned the accident occurred at Kanamala, close to Erumeli, Kottayam district on (*40*) morning.
“Four injured pilgrims were rushed to the government medical College in Kottayam. Four persons were taken to the general hospital and some other accident victims were admitted to a nearby private hospital,” the official added.
The pilgrims, hailing from Kolar in neighbouring Karnataka, had been heading to the hill shrine when the accident occurred. The well-known Sabarimala temple is situated in Pathanamthitta district.
As many as 43 folks, together with 40 pilgrims, had been in the car when it met an accident, mentioned the officers.
