Following the raid, the police seized the inventory of various manufacturers of gutka and tobacco merchandise, he stated, including a case was registered towards the accused beneath provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) rules.
The police had been looking for out from the place the inventory was sourced.
The sale and consumption of gutka, scented and flavoured tobacco has been banned in Maharashtra since 2012.
