Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty traded nearly flat in early session on October 23 amid weak trends in global markets.
The 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 56.3 factors to 65,453.92 in opening trade. The Nifty gained 14.2 factors to 19,556.85.
Both the benchmark indices confronted risky trends later and had been buying and selling with marginal positive aspects.
Among the Sensex companies, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Power Grid, Mahindra & Mahindra, ExtremelyTech Cement, Nestle, Bajaj Finserv and Reliance Industries Limited had been the most important gainers.
Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Consultancy Services, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra IndusInd Bank and Titan had been among the many laggards.
