Canoeist Prachi Yadav gained gold in KL2 occasion whereas Deepthi Jeevanji clinched the yellow metallic in T20 class 400m race.
Canoeist Prachi Yadav and quartermiler Deepthi Jeevanji clinched a gold every on the second day of competitions as India’s medal rush within the Hangzhou Asian Para Games continued on Tuesday.
Prachi, who had gained a silver in canoe VL2 class on Monday, bagged her second medal of the Games as she picked up a gold in KL2 occasion.

Deepthi then gained a gold in girls’s T20 class 400m race with the Games and Asian document timing of 56.69 seconds.
Ajay Kumar (males’s T64 400m) and Simran Sharma (girls’s T12 100m) bagged a silver every whereas Manish Kaurav (males’s KL3 canoe) — who’s the husband of Prachi –, Gajendra Singh (males’s VL2 canoe) and Ekta Bhayan (girls’s F32/51 membership throw) gained a bronze every.
With the seven medals, together with two gold, to this point on the second day, India’s tally has swelled to 24 (8 gold, 8 silver, 8 bronze).
India picked up a whopping 17 medals, together with six gold, on the primary day of competitions with star shooter Avani Lekhara main the best way.
Besides Avani (girls’s R2 10m air rifle standing SH1), the opposite gold winners on Monday had been Pranav Soorma (males’s F51 membership throw), Shailesh Kumar (males’s T63 excessive leap), Nishad Kumar (males’s T47 excessive leap), Ankur Dhama (males’s T11 5000m) and Praveen Kumar (males’s T64 excessive leap).
