Tragedy struck in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh district on Tuesday as a serious accident occurred late within the night. Reportedly, a taxi fell into the Kali River close to Lakhanpur on the Dharchula-Lipulekh street. This tragic incident resulted within the lack of six pilgrims’ lives who had been returning from Adi Kailash after performing a pilgrimage. Pithoragarh’s Police Superintendent, Lokeshwar Singh, knowledgeable that as a result of darkness and difficult terrain, the restoration of the our bodies has not but commenced. The search and retrieval operation is scheduled to start within the morning.
The victims hailed from varied locations, together with two people from Bengaluru, two from Telangana, and two from Uttarakhand. In response to this tragic accident, Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, conveyed his deep sorrow over the lack of lives and supplied prayers for the departed souls and power to their grieving households.
In one other incident, roughly ten days in the past, a deadly accident occurred within the Chakrata area of Dehradun district, Uttarakhand. An uncontrollable jeep, whereas travelling from Tikari village in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, met with an accident. The jeep, carrying three passengers, misplaced management and fell round 200 meters under the principle street. As a consequence, the people on board misplaced their lives. The victims had been recognized as Rakesh Kumar (26), Surjeet Singh (35), and Shyam Singh (48) from Tikari village, Shimla.
