The Union Cabinet on Wednesday accredited a Rs 22,303 crore subsidy on P&Okay fertilisers for the present Rabi season to make sure farmers proceed to get soil vitamins at cheap charges regardless of excessive international costs.

The Union Cabinet has accredited nutrient-based mostly subsidy charges (NBS) for varied vitamins, like nitrogen, phosphorous, potash and sulphur for the Rabi crop season (October 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024).
Thakur mentioned di-ammonium phosphate will proceed to be offered on the previous price of Rs 1,350 per bag, whereas for Muriate of Potash (MoP) the speed will go down.
