Sunday lockdown (March 21) can be imposed in three cities in Madhya Pradesh together with Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur, in view of the rising covid instances in the state. Schools and faculties may even stay closed until March 31 in the state. The choice was taken in a overview assembly chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday.
Madhya Pradesh on Friday reported 1,140 COVID-19 instances, taking its tally to 2,73,097, whereas seven deaths elevated the toll to 3,901, an official mentioned.
