Wayanad’s Jose deliberate his run brilliantly, taking the lead in the lads’s class early in the race and staving off all challengers to win in 03:02:55s, whereas Maharashtra’s Chavan cantered to victory, waging a lone battle towards the clock. She clocked 04:31:55 in the ladies’s class.

Local lengthy-distance runner Jose Ellickal and Trupti Katkar Chavan of Maharashtra gained the lads’s and girls’s titles respectively on the Ageas Federal Life Insurance Kochi Spice Coast Marathon 2023 on Sunday.

Shyma IK (05:02:09s) and Shinomol Palathana (05:09:33s) completed second and third respectively.

”I commend the organisers and sponsors for taking this initiative. This is well essentially the most scenic marathon and I’m proud to be related to it.

”It’s wonderful that near 7,000 runners throughout age teams are collaborating in the occasion with the willpower to Run Ageless, Run Fearless,” cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, the model ambassador of the Ageas Federal Life Insurance, stated whereas flagging off the occasion.

The half-marathons have been nearer affairs, with Sajith KM (01:21:49s) successful the lads’s title and Rema AK (02:01:25s) rising winner in the ladies’s class.

David Cowlishaw (01:25:26s) and Athul Raj (01:27:40s) adopted Sajith, whereas Sreedevi KC (02:07:41s) and Zoja Ziya (02:11:18) occupied second and third slots in the ladies’s part.
