Chandigarh faculties, colleges shut till March 31 amid surge in Covid cases
Schools and colleges in Chandigarh shall be closed with quick impact till March 31 amid rising COVID-19 cases in the Union Territory (UT). However, all instructing and non-teaching employees shall proceed to attend the colleges, an official notification stated.
According to the notification, on-line exams for lessons 3 to eight shall be held as per schedule. The on-line examination being carried out by the Punjab University will proceed as per schedule.
Chandigarh reported as many as 208 recent coronavirus cases on Monday, taking the full variety of cases to 24,667. The variety of lively cases now at 1,979 and dying toll stands at 363, the Health Department stated in the most recent replace.
