“The domestic competition in Panchkula will act as a final selection for the Paris Olympic Games,” Sumariwalla mentioned in a launch.
The Olympics are scheduled to be held from July 26 until August 11.
The 2024 World Relays within the Bahamas (May 4-5) will likely be one other main worldwide competitors because it presents Paris Olympics qualification berths.
“We want our core group of athletes to peak at the right time and excel at the international level,” Sumariwalla mentioned.
