In a stunning incident, 4 individuals including a girl and two children had been trampled to loss of life by two wild elephants in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Thursday, a district official mentioned.
The incident occurred when two adults, accompanied by the children, had been getting back from an agricultural area after work.Â
They had been attacked by the elephants at Laloobasti in Bokajan space of the district, the official added.
The useless have been recognized as 28-year-old Ribika Kerketta, 50-year-old Kania Tiria, four-year-old Jesia Kerketta and two-year-old Augustin Karmakar.
Senior police and forest officers rushed to the spot whereas the our bodies have been despatched for postmortem.
