Aditya L1 spacecraft, India’s first space-based mission to check the Sun, is nearing its final part, and manoeuvres to enter the L1 level are anticipated to be accomplished by January 7, 2024, in response to ISRO Chairman S Somanath.

“Possibly by January 7th, the final manoeuvres will be done for entering into the L1 point,” Mr. Somanath added.
Aditya L1 was efficiently launched on September 2 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota.
The spacecraft, after travelling about 1.5 million km from Earth over 125 days, is anticipated to be positioned in a Halo orbit across the Lagrangian level L1, thought-about closest to the Sun.
Among different duties, it should seize and transmit footage of the Sun for scientific experiments.
