RJD-Police Clash In Patna: Party Workers Break Barricading, Pelt Stones At Cops; Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Arrested

The Rashtriya Janata Dal celebration employees, led by celebration leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav, acquired into an unsightly conflict with the Bihar police on Tuesday morning. The Patna police needed to resort to lathicharge on the celebration employees whereas they have been holding march in direction of the Legislative Assembly to protest in opposition to unemployment, inflation, gasoline value hike and issues being confronted by the folks of Bihar as a result of Coronavirus pandemic.

Despite the administration’s denial to carry the protest owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the RJD leaders gathered in giant numbers to JP Golambar to encircle the Legislative Assembly and protest in opposition to the ruling authorities.

According to the visuals surfaced from the incident website, the RJD employees created ruckus as they resorted to violence and attacked cops.

The protesters broke the police barricading and pelted stones on the cops following which, the policemen used water cannon to disperse the group. The cops even resorted to lathicharge to manage the demonstrators.

The RJD’s ‘Vidhan Sabha gherao’ march began from JP roundabout close to the Gandhi Maidan after the celebration have a name for protest in opposition to civic points reminiscent of unemployment, inflation, gasoline value hike amongst others. The chief of opposition within the Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi on Monday tweeted saying “Don’t stop, don’t hold on or bend in front of autocratic government.”
