BCCI introduced the information of their Honorary Secretary Jay Shah being recognised for his management position in the world of cricket.
Following an eventful years that noticed BCCI internet hosting the 2023 ODI World Cup moreover launching the Women’s Premier League, Jay Shah, the board secretary, has been awarded with the Sports Business Leader of the Year Award 2023.
The BCCI shared the information on their official account on X (previously Twitter), saying the honour is the first for anybody in the Indian Sports administration.

Besides his position with the BCCI, Shah can be the president of the Asian Cricket Council that performed the Asia Cup in the build-up to the world cup.
