I could feel her pain and emotions by the way she looked at me. I’m thankful to God for choosing me for such moments when I can help someone. Remember, little acts of kindness can make a big difference. We all have the power to be a light in someone’s life. And if an old lady can work hard every day, maybe we all should try it too. Let’s spread kindness and be there for each other.”

In the video’s caption, Humans of Bombay quotes Ali, who’s a retired salesman, “Everyday, I take a bus from my house and come here to sell these handkerchiefs. Over the years, I have built so many permanent customers! They all call me Kaka lovingly. And I too have the same love for all my customers. When some people can’t afford the handkerchiefs, I give them a discount and when people tell me they’re using the handkerchiefs in temples, I give it to them for free. It’s these things that keep me going every day. They make me want to get up every time.”
