PM Narendra Modi to embark on historic two-day visit to Bangladesh, his first foreign trip since COVID-19 outbreak

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to start a two-day visit to Bangladesh on Friday, his first trip to a foreign nation since the COVID-19 outbreak. Prime Minister Modi will depart for Bangladesh at 07:45 AM and can arrive in Dhaka at 10:00 AM. 

After his arrival, he’ll attend an occasion on the National Martyr`s Memorial at 10:50 AM in Bangladesh capital Dhaka. Thereafter, Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen will name on Prime Minister Modi at 3:15 PM.

Later, he’ll attend the National Day Programme at 3:45 pm. Prime Minister Modi will then inaugurate Bapu Bangabandhu Digital Video Exhibition at 7:45 pm.

Prior to his departure, Prime Minister Modi stated that he seems to be ahead to having “substantive discussions” with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He can even name on Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid throughout the visit.

He added, “My visit won’t solely be an event to convey appreciation for Bangladesh`s exceptional financial and developmental strides beneath Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s visionary management, but in addition to commit India`s abiding assist for these achievements.
