Zhong Bu Development Singapore Pte. Ltd. mentioned it should set up an adhesive manufacturing unit on the non-leather footwear element cluster that’s coming up contained in the footwear park at Perambalur in Tamil Nadu.
The firm mentioned it had already set up an Indian subsidiary to implement the undertaking including the muse stone of the manufacturing unit can be laid throughout the upcoming Tamil Nadu Global Investor Meet (TNGIM).
The footwear park is being developed by Phoenix Kothari Footwear, a three way partnership between Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd. (KICL) and Evervan Group of Taiwan.
J. Rafiq Ahmed, Chairman, Phoenix Kothari Footwear Ltd in an announcement mentioned. “Our aim is to get the factory on stream within six months from the date on which the foundation is laid.”
The Perambalur non-footwear element cluster is anticipated to home 30 factories. Phoenix Kothari Footwear Ltd. has already tied up with 21 firms to set up services in the element cluster.
Zhong Bu is into the manufacturing and sale of adhesives and associated merchandise for the footwear trade. It has manufacturing crops in China, Vietnam and Indonesia, with analysis and growth services and technical service capabilities.
Mr. Ahmed mentioned, the park is a big nationwide initiative in the post-COVID period and in the wake of the China Plus One technique pursued by world producers.
“This clearly fits in with the Make-In-India policy of the Government of India. Tamil Nadu will be the next Vietnam,” he mentioned.
