Jindal Advanced Materials (JAM) stated it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu authorities to arrange a brand new manufacturing plant – its first such facility in South India – with an funding of about ₹1,000 crore.
The facility, to be unfold over an space of 250 acres, will come up in Trichy and generate up to 3,000 jobs, the corporate stated in a press release.
The firm stated it will produce ‘innovative composite materials’ on the plant, which might be the corporate’s fourth plant in India. The new plant is anticipated to be operational in seven years in phases.
