Pune: Fire breaks out at Fashion Street market in Camp space, 500 shops gutted
Around 500 shops had been gutted in a large fireplace at the well-known Fashion Street market in Camp space of Pune, officers mentioned on Saturday. The fireplace had damaged out round 11 pm on Friday, they mentioned, including that no one was injured in the incident.
‘Soon after the blaze erupted, native individuals alerted the hearth brigade. Around16 fireplace engines and water tankers had been rushed to the spot and launched the firefighting operation,’ a fireplace brigade official mentioned.
‘The fireplace was introduced beneath management by round 1 am. However, round 500 shops had been gutted by that point. But no casualty was reported in the incident,’ he mentioned.
The explanation for the hearth is being investigated, the official mentioned.
The Fashion Street on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) space is a well-known ‘window purchasing’ vacation spot that homes small shops promoting clothes, sneakers, goggles and different equipment.
