President Ram Nath Kovind was on Saturday shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a planned bypass process which is predicted to be carried out on Tuesday, an announcement issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan mentioned. The president’s well being situation is steady and he’s underneath the care of specialists, it mentioned.

Kovind, 75, had undergone a well being check-up on the Army Hospital (R&R) right here following chest discomfort on Friday morning.

The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind has been shifted to the AIIMS, Delhi, within the afternoon immediately (March 27, 2021). Post investigations, medical doctors have suggested him to endure a planned bypass process which is predicted to be carried out on the morning of March 30, Tuesday.

“The President’s well being is steady and he’s underneath the care of the specialists on the AIIMS,” the assertion mentioned.

Earlier on Saturday, the Army hospital mentioned in a medical bulletin that the president is being referred to AIIMS, Delhi for additional investigation.

The hospital had on Friday mentioned, “President of India visited Army Hospital (R&R) following chest discomfort this morning. He is undergoing routine check-up and is under observation”.
