BJP candidate Naishadhbhai Bhupatbhai Desai obtained 1,85,222 votes (19.53%) and was the runner-up. Jardosh defeated Desai by a margin of 5,33,190 votes. The whole variety of legitimate votes polled on this constituency was 9,47,922. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Mohanbhai B Patel got here third with 18,877 votes (1.99%).
