Airbus has signed a contract with the Indian Institute of Management in Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) to offer aviation schooling to professionals and empower them with industry-ready expertise via ‘Airbus Beyond’ programmes, the plane producer stated in a press release.
The contract was signed between Prof. Manoj Okay Tiwari, Director, IIM Mumbai and Rémi Maillard, President and Managing Director, Airbus India and South Asia.
Under this contract, IIM Mumbai will supply short-term aviation programs to aspiring and dealing professionals who will be capable of harness the facility of Airbus Beyond programmes in the areas of aviation logistics, provide chain administration, operations excellence, cargo dealing with, strategic procurement, enterprise analytics and digitisation.

As per the settlement, IIM Mumbai will organise programs, onboard college students and supply infrastructure and logistical assist. Airbus will present trainers and training materials from the Airbus Beyond catalogue for short-term programs in the preliminary part and co-curate long-term programs and certify their trainers in the later part.
