Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Assam on Friday on a two-day go to, throughout which he’ll inaugurate and lay the muse of tasks price Rs 18,000 crore. He was welcomed at Tezpur airport by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
”#ModiParivarAssam is thrilled to welcome our beloved Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji to the land of Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev,” Sarma posted on X. Modi then flew to Panbari in Kaziranga in a helicopter.
The final leg of his journey of about 15 kms shall be travelled by street from the helipad to the Police Guest House close to Central Kohora Range in Kaziranga National Park.
He will spend the evening on the Guest House and can undertake a jungle safari early on Saturday morning. Officials stated the Park authorities have made preparations for each jeep and elephant safaris. He shall be there for round two hours, they stated.
As PM Modi reached Kaziranga National Park, he was welcomed by numerous individuals on the World Heritage Site.
After endeavor the safari, Modi will depart for Arunachal Pradesh, the place he’s scheduled to attend two programmes. He will return to Jorhat within the afternoon and inaugurate the 125-ft excessive ’Statue of Valour’ of legendary Ahom common Lachit Barphukan.
The prime minister will then proceed to Meleng Meteli Pothar, the place he’ll inaugurate and lay the muse of central and state tasks price a complete of round Rs 18,000 crore, the officers stated. He can be scheduled to handle a public assembly on the venue. After the assembly, he’ll depart for West Bengal. The prime minister had visited Assam on February 4 and launched infrastructure tasks price Rs 11,600 crore.
