Congress on Friday launched the primary list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The names included Rahul Gandhi who shall be contesting from Kerela’s Wayanad, Bhupesh Baghel from Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon, Shashi Tharoor from Kerala’s Thituvananthapuram amongst others. The list contains 39 candidates who’ve been named from throughout a number of states.

Here is a state-wise list of candidates contesting for the Lok Sabha polls. 

Kerala

Sikkim

The announcement got here a day after the Congress’ Central Election Committee (CEC) finalised the names for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections after having a dialogue on over 60 Lok Sabha seats from 11 states and union territories. The CEC assembly which was chaired by celebration president Mallikarjun Kharge.

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha elections are due to be held in few weeks, nonetheless, the polling schedule is but to be introduced by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
