‘Unmarried Trouble Maker’: Former Kerala MP Apologises Over Suggestive Remarks Against Rahul Gandhi

Irattayar: Former Idukki MP Joyce George has apologised for his remarks whereby he known as Congress Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi an “unmarried trouble maker” whereas campaigning for State minister MM Mani forward of the meeting election in Kerala.

Joyce George stirred controversy when he stated that the previous Congress president visits solely ladies’s faculties and requested the ladies to be “cautious” whereas coping with him.

“I unconditionally withdrew and publicly apologised when I realized that there had been an inappropriate reference on my part. The controversy helped me to create awareness of the need for caution not only in public speech but also in private conversation,”: Joyce George stated after going through criticism, placing LDF in an uncomfortable state of affairs.

He was addressing an election rally at Irattayar in Kerala’s Idukki district on Monday the place he made suggestive feedback in opposition to Rahul Gandhi.

“Rahul Gandhi’s programs are held only in women’s colleges. He goes there and teaches girls how to stand straight, how to bend,” he reportedly stated.

“Girls never bend down in front of him… he is an unmarried trouble maker,” PTI quoted George as saying.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had distanced himself from George’s feedback whereas interacting with the media in Kasaragod on Tuesday stating the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will oppose Gandhi “politically not personally”.
