RRP Electronics Ltd. has introduced to arrange a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Maharashtra to satisfy rising demand from the home market and to cater to exports.
It stated it could make investments ₹5,000 crore in the subsequent 5 years to scale up its operations. The firm stated it had entered into agreements with European consortiums having experience in Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing (OSAT) and fabrication (FAB) know-how.
The basis stone for the manufacturing facility is scheduled to be laid on 23 March, 2024 and the corporate stated it could quick observe the graduation of the challenge.
Going ahead the unit, which is able to begin with OSAT, shall be transformed into an R&D centre.
This facility will ship companies in the world of car software, energy electronics and industrial, the corporate stated.
