An IIT-Guwahati scholar has been apprehended following suspicions of pledging allegiance to ISIS from Hajo in Assam, on Saturday. The scholar is in his fourth 12 months of Biotechnology. Farooqui, initially from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, was needed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
