Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Days forward of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, the Congress party on Monday moved the Election Commission (EC) against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for comparing the party manifesto with the Muslim League. 

Taking to X, senior Congress chief Jairam Ramesh stated {that a} party delegation met with the Election Commission and offered and argued as many as six complaints, together with two against the Prime Minister. 

Complaint against PM Modi

He stated the grievance has been filed against the Prime Minister’s absurd declare that the Congress Nyay Patra is making an attempt to divide the nation and imposing the pre-independence ideology of the Muslim League.

“This is the time for the Election Commission to demonstrate its independence by ensuring a level playing field for all parties. We live in hope that the Hon’ble Commission will uphold its Constitutional mandate. For our part, we will continue to pursue all avenues, political and legal, to expose this regime,” Ramesh added.
