Punjab information: Shortly after Akali Dal chief Sikandar Singh Maluka’s daughter-in-law Parampal Kaur Sidhu joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in New Delhi, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at this time (April 11) mentioned the state authorities has not accepted her resignation as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.
Sidhu and her husband joined the BJP within the presence of Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri and its nationwide basic secretary Vinod Tawde within the nationwide capital earlier within the day. After Sidhu resigned, her resignation was despatched to chief minister by the chief secretary for his approval. Sidhu was posted as managing director of the Punjab State Industrial Corporation.
“Parampal Kaur ji’s resignation as IAS officer has not been accepted by the Punjab authorities. Biba ji (Sidhu) was in such a rush to grow to be an IAS. But there may be some process to depart.

Who is Parampal Kaur Sidhu?
A 2011-batch IAS officer, Sidhu had put in her papers just a few days again, amid hypothesis that she would possibly be a part of the BJP.
