Luxury automobile maker Mercedes-Benz India stated its electrical autos (EV) portfolio in January-March quarter grew 130% y-o-y and EV penetration rose greater than 6% in This fall FY24.
Mercedes stated it will double its EV portfolio by introducing three variants in remaining quarters of CY24 taking the overall to six EVs. The firm will debut a mixture of luxurious and efficiency with its AMG S63 e-Performance automobile in Q1 FY2025.
“Due to the continued trust of customers in our products, we achieved the highest-ever quarter and best-ever fiscal in India,” stated CEO Santosh Iyer.
Mercedes offered 5412 items in the January-March 2024 quarter, up 15% from 4697 items offered in the 12 months in the past interval.
The firm stated it witnessed sturdy demand for SUV portfolio driving 60% of whole gross sales quantity in the final quarter. In FY24 the corporate offered 18,123 items, 10% greater than 16,497 items offered in FY23.
