Mary Kom has determined to step down as chef-de-mission of India’s Paris Olympics contingent, citing private causes. Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha confirmed the event informing that Mary Kom herself requested her to be relieved from the mentioned place in a letter addressed to her. IOA had introduced her on the place on March 21 and the celebrated boxer was presupposed to be the logisticial in-charge of the Indian contingent on the Olympics that can be performed from July 26 to August 11.
