Three women had been killed in Jharkhand’s Ranchi district on Monday morning as the pick-up van on which they had been travelling collided with a tractor after hitting the highway median, police mentioned. The accident occurred in the Ratu Chatti space, they mentioned.
The women had been on the way in which to a waterbody for rituals on the event of the Chaiti Chhath pageant, mentioned Shashibhusan Chaudhary, the inspector of Ratu police station. “The three women died on the spot,” he mentioned.
