The Home Minister, who was addressing a public rally for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Cooch Behar’s Sitalkuchi, reiterated that the TMC chief would “lose” from the Nandigram Assembly seat.

“The BJP will win more than 50 out of the 60 seats that went to polls in the first two phases of elections in West Bengal. Bengal is looking for ‘Parivartan’ (change) and let me tell you one thing that there is no doubt that Didi is losing the Nandigram seat. In North Bengal also, the people will give her a befitting reply for her step-motherly attitude,” he mentioned.

Expressing confidence within the BJP’s victory within the electoral battle, Shah additionally used the event to focus on the guarantees made by the saffron occasion for the state’s improvement with explicit emphasis on North Bengal.

The Home Minister’s remarks come as election campaigning for the third and fourth phases in West Bengal has reached its peak in the present day.
