New Delhi: The police arrested 10 Naxalites on Monday within the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, one of many arrested Naxalites carried an award of Rs 1 lakh on his head, officers stated.
Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan knowledgeable that Madvi Buska, Madvi Joga, Madkam Deva and 7 others had been arrested throughout an anti-Naxalite operation from the forest close to Duled village.
Sukma SP knowledgeable that the (*10*) of the state police’s District Reserve Guard, native police and 204th, 206th and 208th battalions of CRPF’s elite CoBRA unit had been out on an operation.
Buska, with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head, served as a militia commander below the Eranpalli Revolutionary People’s Council (RPC). Meanwhile, Madkam held the place of president inside its agriculture wing and Joga was part ‘A’ militia deputy commander below the Peddabodkel RPC, the official stated, PTI reported
The different seven had been lower-ranking caders who had been concerned in a number of Naxalite-related incidents of violence, the official stated.
