Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu pipped Han Yue of China 21-13 14-21 21-12 in the quarterfinals of the continued Malaysia Masters on Friday (May 24) to e-book a berth in the semifinals. The highest-ranked Indian feminine shuttler took 55 minutes to overcome a stern problem offered by the match’s top seed.
Sindhu’s triumph is ready to increase her self-belief to a serious extent as she has been struggling to maintain her successful momentum going. Her match in opposition to Han Yue was the second assembly between the 2 shuttlers in a span of little over a month.
