Guwahati: A student of Indian Institute of Technology in Guwahati (IIT-G) has been arrested on the cost of molesting his school mate and produced earlier than a courtroom in Kamrup district, which remanded him in judicial custody.
According to a police officer, the complainant, a resident of Gujarat, has claimed in her assertion that the accused, a fellow student within the mechanical engineering division, molested her after spiking her drink at IIT-G hostel throughout Holi celebrations on March 29.
The lady stated she fell unconscious after consuming the drink.
