AMES, Iowa: Rasir Bolton, Iowa State’s main scorer this previous season, has entered the NCAA switch portal and will probably be seeking to play at his third faculty in 4 years.
Bolton left Penn State in 2019 after then-coach Patrick Chambers made a race-tinged remark to Bolton. Chambers resigned in October 2020.
Bolton averaged 15.5 factors per recreation for an Iowa State crew that gained solely two video games. Coach Steve Prohm was fired, changed by T.J. Otzelberger.
In saying his plan to switch, Bolton tweeted, On March eleventh I said my continued dedication to CyclONEnation, I later discovered that each resolution just isn’t ours to make.
Bolton began 50 of 51 video games in two seasons at Iowa State and averaged 15 factors, 4 rebounds and three.3 assists.
The native of Petersburg, Virginia, can have one 12 months of eligibility as a graduate switch.
