Bhopal: A health care provider in a authorities hospital in Madhya Pradesh resigned after he was allegedly yelled at by some Congress leaders, together with former minister PC Sharma following the dying of a affected person.
Meanwhile, Sharma claims that he didn’t communicate rudely to the physician and acquired concerned as a result of the affected person was a member of his Assembly constituency.

In one of many movies shared on Twitter, Dr. Yogendra Shrivastava says that “a patient came to us at 12.30 with SPO2 33% he was immediately given the primary treatment and his relatives were made aware of his conditions. We informed them that our ICU is full and we can’t admit him here… and then this happened all in a span of 1 hour”.
“After the patient’s death, a few outsiders came in and started misbehaving with me. I am mentally agonised, I don’t want to do this. I don’t want to receive such abuse, I have resigned”: he provides in an emotional outburst.
The video is shared by person Ritika Pandey who claims to have been on the spot when the incident passed off. In this purported video, MLA PC Sharma and former Congress corporator Yogendra Chouhan shouting at Dr Yogendra Shrivastava.
Government JP hospital civil surgeon Dr Rakesh Shrivastava advised information company PTI, “Our senior doctor Yogendra Shrivastava has resigned after some politicians misbehaved with him. A patient in a critical condition was admitted to the trauma ward this morning. Dr Yogendra told his family his condition was too critical. During treatment, he died, following which some politicians misbehaved with the doctor”.
Reacting to the incident, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted: “Saddened by the incident, a senior doctor has resigned. We live in a civilised society and right now it is the time to stand together. Creating furore was neither in public good nor right in the fight against Covid-19.”
