Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday withdrew the candidature of Sangeeta Sengar, the spouse of former MLA and Unnao rape convict Kuldeep Sengar, from the Uttar Pradesh panchayat polls.
Sangeeta Sengar, the outgoing Zila Panchayat Chairperson of Unnao, was fielded by the BJP from ward quantity 22 of Fatehpur Chaurasi.
