India Achieves Unparalleled Feat Amid Covid Surge, Vaccinates Over 12 Crore People In 92 Days

New Delhi: Amid the exponential surge in Covid-19 instances, India vaccinated over (*92*) crore folks towards the virus in a span of 92 days on Sunday as a part of the world’s largest vaccination drive, stated the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The Health Ministry added the United States took 97 days whereas China achieved a parallel accomplishment in 108 days.

The ministry stated (*92*),26,22,590 vaccine doses have cumulatively been administered by 18,15,325 periods, as per the provisional report until 7 a.m. at present.

These embody 91,28,146 Health Care Workers (HCWs) who’ve taken the primary dose and 57,08,223 HCWs who’ve taken the second dose, 1,(*92*),33,415 Frontline Health Workers (FLWs) (first dose), 55,10,238 FLWs (second dose), 4,55,94,522 first dose beneficiaries and 38,91,294 second dose beneficiaries greater than 60 years outdated and 4,04,74,993 (first dose) and 10,81,759 (second dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years, the ministry added.
