Rahul Gandhi Tests COVID-19 Positive, PM Modi Prays For His Speedy Recovery

New Delhi: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has examined optimistic for Coronavirus.  Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to disclose that he has examined Coronavirus optimistic with delicate signs and requested everybody who’ve are available contact with him lately, to observe all Coronavirus protocols and be secure.

“After experiencing mild symptoms, I’ve just tested positive for COVID. All those who’ve been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe,” Rahul tweeted.

PM Narendra Modi took to Twitter to wish Gandhi a quick recovery.

Senior Congress chief P. Chidambaram wished him speedy restoration: “Learned that Mr Rahul Gandhi has examined optimistic and has remoted himself. Deeply involved. I want him a full and speedy restoration.”

Earlier during the day, Rahul Gandhi demanded that the government should transfer money into the accounts of the migrants who are returning to their hometowns due to the lockdown. He tweeted in Hindi, “Migrants are once more shifting again, so that is the accountability of the Union authorities to switch cash to their accounts. Will the federal government, which is blaming the general public for the unfold of the Covid, take such a public supportive step.”

Amid massive rise in Covid cases in the country, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday had suspended all his political rallies in West Bengal and asked other political parties to think seriously about the consequences of holding huge rallies under such circumstances. “In view of the Covid state of affairs, I’m suspending all my public rallies in West Bengal. I’d advise all political leaders to suppose deeply in regards to the penalties of holding giant public rallies underneath the present circumstances,” Gandhi wrote in a tweet.

Meanwhile, Delhi has witnessed a major surge in daily Coronavirus cases. On Monday, 23,686 people were infected with Covid-19 and 240 patients died. On Monday, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Union Minister Anand Sharma also tested Coronavirus positive. Both are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
