A poultry farmer from Maharashtra’s Pune district has approached the police claiming that hens at his farm have stopped laying eggs after consuming the feed manufactured by a selected agency, an official stated on Wednesday.
No FIR is registered as the involved producer has agreed to pay the compensation to house owners of three to 4 poultry farms who additionally confronted this situation.

The complainant said he had bought the poultry feed from an organization primarily based within the neighbouring Ahmednagar district of the state.
