New Delhi: Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary, CPI(M) chief Sitaram Yechury’s elder son, Ashish Yechury passes away as a consequence of COVID-19 in Gurgaon’s Medanta Hospital early morning on Thursday.
He was admitted to Holy Family hospital two weeks in the past and was later shifted to Gurgaon.
It is with nice disappointment that I’ve to tell that I misplaced my elder son, Ashish Yechury to COVID-19 this morning. I wish to thank all those that gave us hope and who handled him – medical doctors, nurses, frontline well being staff, sanitation staff and innumerable others who stood by us.

According to media report, 35 year-old Ashish Yechury was a senior editor with a number one newspaper.
Those near the household instructed India Today, that 34-year-old Ashish Yechury had examined optimistic for Covid-19 two weeks in the past and was admitted to Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital. He had not too long ago been recovering properly from the illness, nevertheless, succumbed to the illness at 5.30 am on Thursday. He is survived by his spouse Swati.
