Five individuals have been arrested in Maharashtra’s Nagpur for allegedly selling Remdesivir, a key drug in the remedy of COVID-19, at Rs 45,000 per vial, police stated on Saturday.
After a tip off was obtained, a lure was laid and 5 individuals have been held on Friday night time and 7 vials of the anti-viral drug have been recovered from them, stated Beltarodi police station inspector Vijay Akot.
They have been remanded in police custody until April 26, he added.
