An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in Assam on Wednesday. The quake was reported at 7.22 pm with its epicentre at a depth of 40 km west of Tezpur, in response to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS). The depth of the quake was 27 km.
Earlier on Monday, an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Assam’s Sonitpur.
So far, no reviews of any harm have surfaced.
