Dinesh Trivedi said, ” Our party’s ideology did not change with time, TMC is still stuck with its old thinking and the rate of corruption and violence has also increased in West Bengal in the past few years. TMC’s ideology doesn’t match with mine now as for me my country is above all, I realised I have to choose among my party, state or country and I chose India.Â
Dinesh Trivedi also said that he protested within the party to take some action when BJP President JP Nadda’s convoy was attacked during his Bengal visit but the party leaders were unhappy with him.Â

On being asked whether he will join BJP, Dinesh Trivedi said that he is grateful to the saffron party for give him an offer and both RSS and the Bhartiya Janata Party believe in keeping the country first and above all but he will introspect for some time to understand where his ideology is taking him. He said that he will make a decision after analysing all the aspects as he has come to politics to improve the situation of the people and TMC bounded him but now he is free to work for the welfare of the citizens.
