Indian Railways cancels 28 trains including Rajdhani, Shatabdi from May 9 – Check complete list of trains

New Delhi: A bunch of trains run by the Indian Railways will stand cancelled from May 9. These trains will remained cancelled amid the surge within the circumstances of Covid throughout the nation

(*9*)Indian Railways has determined to cancell 28 pairs of Rajdhani, Duranto, Shatabdi and Vande Bharat Express trains till additional orders.

According to Railway Ministry officers, the railways has determined to cancel the Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Duranto, Vande Bharat, Jan Shatabdi Express trains from May 9 till additional orders. The official stated that the choice has been taken within the view of surge within the Covid circumstances and poor occupancy within the trains.

Meanwhile, the Eastern Railway has determined to discontinue 16 trains from May 7 as a result of poor patronization. In a tweet, Eastern Railway has requested passengers to plan their journey accordingly and has regretted the Inconvenience.

It could also be recalled that in April, contemplating the severity of the scenario within the aftermath of the second wave of COVID-19 and in addition owing to low passenger load, the Indian Railways has determined to cancell 40 prepare providers.
