Underworld don Chhota Rajan succumbs to COVID-19 at Delhi AIIMS

NEW DELHI: Underworld don Chhota Rajan succumbed to the lethal COVID-19 an infection at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Friday. According to preliminary stories, the Mumbai underworld gangster, who was present process therapy at the AIIMS after his situation deteriorated, died due to COVID-19 associated issues within the afternoon.

He was admitted to the hospital on April 26. Though DGP Tihar Jail stated no official info has come on this regard, different sources confirmed his dying.

 

 

Rajan, 61, was lodged in solitary confinement in one of many greatest cells at Delhi’s high-security Tihar Jail. He was not even allowed to work together with different prisoners due to safety issues.

However, officers suspect that he might have contracted the virus from some asymptomatic jail officer.
